N2 - Here, we sequenced Duganella sp. strain DN04, a novel species within the genus Duganella that was isolated from a maize field in North Carolina. The assembled draft genome size is 6,562,230 bp, with a total of 6,039 protein coding sequences and 3,889 functionally assigned genes, including genes putatively involved in the colonization of plants.
