Abstract
To summarize, we think the monazite data reported by Catlos and Çemen (2005) are very important and will help in taking our understanding of the tectonic history of this region forward. We have some concerns about how the monazite ages are interpreted in the context of garnet growth and the P-T history, and have mentioned a few points here for discussion.
