Abstract
This research examines a set of pre-existing digital models of the Barcelona Pavilion, acknowledging their geometric variations. Through a multi-stage homogenisation process, the models are systematically aligned, revealing persistent interpretive differences despite increasing geometric conformity. The study aims to challenge the primacy of geometric accuracy, arguing that architecturally significant knowledge can be derived from analysing variations within a set of ostensibly inaccurate models. This exploratory approach aims to highlight digital models of existing buildings as interpretive representations with latent value beyond mere transcriptions of built reality.
