Abstract
Bicyclic enediones have been synthesized via inter- and intramolecular dicobaltoctacarbonyl-mediated cyclizations (Pauson-Khand reactions) of electron-deficient alkynones. These transformations are most efficient when the reaction solvent is acetonitrile.
