Abstract
This paper introduces new software for performing numerical simulations of hypersonic flows on unstructured meshes. The software is composed of a set of libraries that implement the necessary utilities, algorithms, and models for solving the compressible Navier-Stokes equations under hypersonic conditions. The libraries are designed as independent, standalone software tools that can be developed and tested individually but coupled together in an efficient manner to perform complex simulation and analysis tasks. The libraries are described in detail in §II followed by results in §III that demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the flow solver. Finally, conclusions and future work are outlined in §IV.
