Abstract

In order to assist in the planning, engineering, and design of stormwater and sediment control structures, an applied research tool, SEDIMOT II, was developed. Described within this paper is the multifaceted approach initiated to enhance and modify this model into a user friendly interactive program. The approach encompasses assessment of user needs, development and utility testing of a comprehensive users' manual, training workshops, and a technical/computer response team.
