Abstract

Two new diprenylquinones, glabruquinone A (desmethylubiquinone Q ₂) having cancer preventive properties and its minor isomer Glabruquinone B were isolated from the ascidian Aplidium glabrum. Their structures have been elucidated by NMR and mass spectra and confirmed by synthesis.
