DESIGN ASPECTS OF BUILDINGS FOR FLOOD PLAIN LOCATIONS.

Abstract

A group of farm buildings which had been inundated by a flood were studied to determine the extent and nature of flood damage. Damage was found to be related to the type and quality of the building and to interaction of the building materials with water. Data are tabulated.
