Abstract
From a programming point of view, agents are active objects defined to simulate parts of a model. At present, the challenge is to see how agents bargain and learn in a more complex environment. By looking at how agents complete their transactions and how they learn from them, an insight is obtained into the dynamics of electrical power supply and demand.
