Abstract
Numerous approaches to CML therapy are now available which promise prolonged remission and, in some cases, cure. What is now needed is a cohesive, integrated and step-wise approach to CML patients providing low-risk therapy when possible, but without jeopardizing the opportunity for cure. Several studies are underway which examine this issue.
