N2 - Liver transplantation is continuing to grow and evolve in North America. Changes in organ availability, recipient selection, indications and progressive approaches to oncologic treatment have occurred in the last five years. Despite increased activity in deceased and living donation in North America, there continues to be a high mortality on the waitlist as the recipient indications have changed over time which has led to new approaches to help patients with end-stage liver disease.
