Abstract

The authors have shown that there is a quasiscaling region in which the thermal conductivity of **4He appears to be diverging with an exponent greater than that predicted by dynamic-scaling, while in the unobservable asympotic critical region, dynamic-scaling is still valid. They have calculated the excess exponent in a strict two-term epsilon -expansion for the first time.
