Abstract

In the manuscript titled “Opportunities to Diversify the Pediatric Nursing Workforce: A Focus on Male Nurses,” published March-April 2024, the Abstract, Results, and Tables mistakenly identified the number of pediatric nurses as 1,551,585 (108,752 male pediatric nurses and 1,442,833 female pediatric nurses) and pediatric nurse practitioners as 24,009 (779 male pediatric nurse practitioners and 18,969 female pediatric nurse practitioners); in fact, these were weighted values based on a larger sample of survey responses inclusive of nurses who did not report any patient care. The article abstract, results, and tables in this version of the manuscript have been corrected to include pediatric nurses as those who provided patient care.
