Abstract

In the original article, there was an error. After discussions with the wider scientific community, the pollen taxa identified as Corylus is more likely to be Myrica; and the pollen taxa identified as Cercocarpus is more likely to be Terminalia. A correction has therefore been made to the Results, subsection Palaeoecological Trends, paragraph two and three.
