Abstract

Amidst the rising prevalence of humanoid robots, extensive research is being done to explore their applications across various domains. Among these domains, a notable focus lies in investigating the potential of robots as motivational tools. Several verbal and bodily characteristics can be used to motivate people to perform different tasks. This paper aims to explore how conversational robots can leverage distinct verbal characteristics to motivate individuals.
