Abstract
A family demonstrating an autosomal dominant inheritance of a symptom complex including clubfeet and hands is described. Clinical and anatomic studies revealed absent or hypoplastic digital extensor tendons in the hands suggesting that this is a factor in the pathogenesis of the ulnar deviation deformity of the fingers. Genetic counseling arising from this study can be of assistance to this and other families.
