Abstract
This chapter summarizes five main themes that traverse the chapters in the book. Additionally, it contends that potential undergraduate career education needs to evolve in order to prepare future generations for ongoing change and uncertainty in the workplace. It underscores the importance of equity, social justice, and accountability in career education. Similarly, it echoes a call for change: career education is everyone’s role across campus, not just those who are employed in career services positions. Finally, the editors provide recommendations for administrators and practitioners in the career development field, putting the undergraduate student at the center of our collective work.
