Abstract

A combine discharge sample collector (CDSC) was developed for collection of walker and sieve discharge samples from combines during harvest of wild rice. The CDSC consists of a tracked vehicle on which is mounted a special frame (adjustable to accommodate many of the combines used in wild rice harvest) which carries two catch-cloths. During sampling, the CDSC is towed behind the combine.
