Abstract
In this paper we address two issues in satellite cluster configuration maintenance and control. First we discuss the definition and computation of separation functions between satellites to serve as inputs to flocking algorithms. Second we present different alternatives for auctioneering algorithms for distributed resource allocation in the cluster. We present preliminary results on application of the auctioneering algorithms for fuel usage optimization.
