Clinical cardiac electrophysiology: An overview of its evolution

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of the evolution of modern clinical cardiac electrophysiology and illustrates how these technologies and skill sets interact to facilitate current clinical cardiac electrophysiology practices. Topics include electrocardiography, artificial intelligence, external and implantable device therapies, intracardiac recording and stimulation, mapping/navigation and ablation, intracardiac ultrasound imaging, magnetic resonance techniques, autonomic testing and modification, and pharmacologic and autonomic therapies.
