Abstract
In order to solve the problem of automatic transplanting of plug seedlings in relatively smaller size greenhouses. A fully automated, novel and unmanned plug-in seedling machine is introduced in this paper. To achieve the fully automatic transplanting of plug seedlings, the overall procedural sequence consisted of the mechanisms of clamping, transporting, distributing and planting the seedling seedlings. In this paper, the critical component of the transplanter, chassis is considered the area of interest and explicitly designed. The static and modal analysis of the structure are carried out in detail. The outcome of static analysis demonstrates that the deformation displacement of the whole structure is not more significant than the safe limit and the load distribution pattern is relatively uniform. The maximum shape variable is 1.57mm. The maximum stress appears at the joint of the moving box mounting beam and the upper frame longitudinal beam, which is 53.8 MPa, and it also under the ultimate strength of the aluminum profile. The material yield strength of the frame is 55.2 MPa. According to the modal analysis, the excitation frequency of the first-order torsion and the first-order bending of the structure is higher than 30 Hz, and the external excitation frequency also avoids the natural frequencies of the other orders. Therefore, the modes and natural frequencies of the model are relatively smooth. The overall structure of the frame satisfies the requirements of dynamic and static characteristics.
