Abstract

Oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes catalyzed by HLADH proceeds more smoothly if the oxidant, NAD⁺, is replaced by a stronger oxidant, e.g., thionicotinamide or 3-acetylpyridine adenine dinucleotide.
