N2 - One monodentate and two bidentate carboxylato ligands link the central FeII ion in the cation of 1 (shown on the right) with each of the three neighboring FeII ions. This arrangement results in a complex with threefold symmetry and weak ferromagnetic interactions between the iron centers.
