Abstract

• The collection efficiency of both fly ash particle and black carbon can be improved significantly by wet electrostatic-scrubbing • Particle corona charging has a marginal effect on collection efficiency but droplet induction charging has a great effect • Airflow speed has a marginal effect on collection efficiency of fine particles, but large on that of coarse particles • Both humidity and temperature have significant effects on collection efficiency of small particle, but marginal effects on that of large particles.
