Abstract
Higher-order statistics (HOS) encompasses statistical descriptors of orders greater than two: higher-order moments and cumulants, moment spectra and polyspectra, which are natural generalizations of second-order statistics (SOS). A bibliography containing 1759 entries on higher-order statistics is presented. The bibliography is classified alphabetically/chronologically and by subject. The classification keys, and the conference and journal papers which have been included reflect the authors' background in statistical signal processing.

Funding Information:This bibliography is a direct outcome of the IEEE Signal Processing Workshop on Higher-Order Statistics held on 4-6 June 1993 at South Lake Tahoe, California. The workshop was partially funded by the Office of Naval Research( ONR) under grantN 00014-93-l-0065, and the US Army ResearchO ffice (ARO) under grant DAAH04-93-G-0180, for which we are grateful;i n particular,w e would like to thank Dr. Neil Gerr (ONR) and Dr. W. Sander (ARO) for their en-couragementa nd support.
