Abstract
We study the baryon density contrast between the quark-gluon and hadron phases during the confinement phase transition in the early universe. We include all observed hadronic resonances. Neglecting interhadronic forces the baryon density contrast is of order unity or less, while including interhadronic forces leads to a contrast of order 7, for 160 <Tc<240 MeV. The strangeness/ baryon ration is of order unity in the quark-gluon phase, but in the hadron phase it can vary between 1 15 and unity depending on the interhadronic forces and on Tc.
