In this paper, we proposed a novel flexible method to meet the future requirement of palm equipment application such as high performance mobile phone, PDA, etc. Based on a single frontal face image, at a lower resource configuration, the face texture is extracted through few interactions without the exact matching between model and texture. An interactive scheme is introduced to obtain the local texture coordinates through the user's editing and adjustment on the feature points and influencing area. Experimental result shows that our method is more efficient in generating a 3D realistic face, and it can be used to produce realistic 3D facial animation.
