Abstract

The book describes the state of the art in ammonia production and the research efforts in catalysis, separation and electrochemical approaches. It discusses ammonia utilization, including and beyond traditional fertilizer applications. The book reviews the economics of renewable ammonia production and of its utilization for agricultural, energy and sector coupling applications. It also covers ongoing and prospective commercialization activities. Covers renewable ammonia production and utilization. Focuses on renewable ammonia's potential to improve sustainability in agriculture and energy industries and on the synergistic coupling of these industries for economic competitiveness.
