Abstract

In this paper we describe an approach to the adaptive control of aerospace systems. The approach is based on the computed-torque method used for adaptive control of robotic manipulators. We show how a similar scheme can be developed for typical aerospace models, resulting in a computed-torque method for aerospace systems. In our strategy the plant models used in the computed-torque algorithm can be estimated using a neural network.
