A method of using the ac Josephson effect in a two junction planar interferometer to determine the frequency dependent susceptibility of a magnetic insulator contained within the interferometer loop is proposed. This method should be useful for the study of the dynamics of phase transitions of 2D systems in those instances in which the magnetic transition temperature is below the superconducting transition temperature of the electrodes of the interferometer.
