Abstract

Procedures were developed for synthesis of the carcinogenic compounds 5‐methylchrysene‐5‐14C, 2‐methylaniline‐methyl‐14C and 3‐methyl‐2‐naphthyl‐amine‐methyl‐14C. In each case, label was introduced with 14CO2 and yields were acceptable for preparation of these compounds for metabolic studies.
