Abstract

In a randomized study we have been unable to demonstrate any beneficial effect of cadaver donor pretreatment with 5 g of methylprednisolone and 7 g of cyclophosphamide on graft function or survival in 22 recipients of pretreated kidneys compared with 30 recipients of nonpretreated kidneys.
