Abstract
The borehole slotting method proposed for two boreholes may be extended to three or more boreholes, but soon becomes computationally intractable. A method based on the mixture model of cluster analysis whose computational labor increases linearly with the number of boreholes is proposed. This method produces profiles of the unknown strata to which the individual boreholes are easily matched. -from STAR, 22(7), 1984
