Abstract

Tubing made of membrane with high oxygen permeability is often used in supplying oxygen to animal cell culture bioreactors. We have fabricated the tubing into a cartridge configuration. Such an arrangement allows damaged tubing to be replaced conveniently and eases the maintenance of such an oxygenator in bioreactors.
