Project Details
Description
Changes in circadian characteristics of various endpoints of heart rate variability are mapped as a function of age, based on 7-day/24-hour records in different geographic locations. Effects of space weather on heart rate variability are assessed, notably in records obtained at high-latitude locations. Around-the-clock ECG records of astronauts monitored on the ISS and on earth are also being analyzed to study the adaption to the space environment.
