Research interests
Rylie’s research interests focus on identifying production, consumption and infrastructure transition strategies that improve global sustainability through applications of life cycle assessment and developing decision support tools for organizations and institutions to integrate sustainability metrics into decision/policy-making processes. Rylie’s current research focuses on exploring the spatial environmental impacts of agricultural/protein/biofuel supply chains, identifying potential improvement strategies and integrating insights into visualization tools for decision making. Other research interests include understanding the intersections of urban scale climate action and resiliency planning with infrastructure improvement planning.
