Research interests
With 10+ year experience in industry and academia, Dr. Cai's research interests include water chemistry, stormwater treatment, climate change, watershed and environmental statistics. Current researches focus on using cost-effective technologies/materials to treat wastewater and stormwater to sustain resources and protect our environment for resilient communities. Dr. Cai is also an environmental statistician and GIS analyst, capable of multiple statistical methods and softwares, and ArcGIS.
