Personal profile
Research interests
Dr. Rogers broadly explores improving production of organic fruit and vegetable crops with a focus on integrated pest management. Her research goals are to reduce conventional pesticide use by increasing biological based suppression of insect pests, cultural management strategies to improve plant tolerance to insect herbivory, and controlled environments to improve quality of horticultural crops while simultaneously reducing pest pressure. Her research program also includes urban agriculture and participatory research models.
