Personal profile

Research interests

Broad research interest is understanding how the human brain controls movement. Specifically, exploring the etiology and mechanisms of neurological diseases or injury that affect the motor and somatosensory system. Another main interest is the effects of deep brain stimulation (DBS) for treating movement disorders; the mechanisms of DBS and how it alters motor and somatosensory function.
