John Bennett is a Community Economics Extension Educator with the University of Minnesota Extension Department of Community Development. John has a BA in Geography and Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a MA in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. He has a background in public finance, community development, food access and city and
regional economics. John was the President of Business Retention and Expansion International (www.brei.org) and was on the board for the Iron Range Economic
Alliance.
