Research interests
My research interests focus on how emerging technology impacts the practice of landscape architecture and alters the design of important space and material typologies like the public street and the college campus. My primary expertise areas are earthwork grading, landscape stormwater management, implementation of landscape architecture designs, and college campus planning and design. I maintains a limited practice through the Minneapolis-based firm O2 Design.
Teaching
I teach couses throughout the landscape architecture curriculums at the graduate and undergraduate levels. My main area of teaching focus is in the courses that develop professional practice skills in earthwork grading, landscape stormwater management, material and detail assemblies, landscape design (studio courses), and project implementation and management.

I am a practicing landscape architect and maintain a limited professional practice through the Minneapolis based firm O2 Design. http://o2.design/
