Personal profile

Personal profile

In my current obstetrics and gynecology practice, I am deeply committed to equitable health care and believe diversity and inclusion are paramount to achieving equity in health.  I enjoy empowering people to make their best decisions about their pregnancies, their bodies, their health.

In my role as the Director of Family Planning, I have trained faculty, fellows, resident physicians and medical students to approach comprehensive family planning care with empathy and professionalism.

To help improve clinical care, much of my research focuses on improving access to contraception, how to make family planning counseling more patient-centered and how to make induced abortion care even safer.
