The effects of violence and other toxic exposures on people. We use neuroimaging (magnetoencephalography and MRI) and genetic analyses to better understand PTSD and chronic multi-symptom illnesses (Gulf War Illness in veterans). Our work is showing that these disorders have neuroimmune and genetic bases.
