The mission of the Institute for Research in Statistics and its Applications is to promote research and training in all aspects of Statistics and Data Science, to foster the growth of collaborative and inter-disciplinary research involving Statistics, the Social Sciences and the Humanities, and to advance the use of proper statistical and data science methodology in all activities directed at the well-being of all inhabitants of this planet.
