The Institute for Advanced Study is a lively intellectual community that fosters faculty research and creative activity across academic disciplines. We offer independent research support to faculty members, structural and funding support for interdisciplinary collaboration, and a host of other programs and opportunities for faculty, students, and staff. In addition, we invite the public to join us for concerts, films, discussions of pressing contemporary questions, and presentations of cutting-edge academic research.
