The Nikon TE2000-E widefield inverted microscope will be capable of automated transmission and multi-color fluorescence imaging, including scanning of slides and plates, with Nikon Elements v5.02 and JOBS software. The scope will be equipped for DAPI, GFP, YFP, dsRed, and optional CFP and far-red probes. The scope will be suited for multi-well plate and slide imaging with motorized x/y stage and z-motor. We have been running the current scope using Nikon Elements for some time but will be expanding the software capabilities to accomplish fully automated image acquisition and analysis using Nikon JOBS. This microscope is equipped with a Hamamatsu ORCA Flash 4.0 grayscale camera for samples where more sensitivity is needed.
