Communication as a field often conceptualizes culture as a fixed, yet omnipresent factor shaping individuals' decision-making. However, if individuals can have multiple, layered identities that we invoke through social interactions and performances, can people do the same with their cultural views? Can people have multiple cultural worldviews and switch from one to another? How and why?
